Interior refurbishment capabilities now in VKO
Jet Aviation Moscow announced yesterday at JetExpo 2013 it expands its service at Vnukovo facilities to include full interior refurbishment. The news comes as the Jet Aviation’s Russian subsidiary enters into an agreement with Tulpar Interior Group. The later, based in Kazan, started out as maintenance division of Tulpar Air, a commercial airline as well as private charter operator, and claims to be "the only company in Russia providing the full range of aircraft interior services for commercial and VIP aircraft".
With this agreement Jet Aviation Moscow adds comprehensive interior refurbishment capabilities to complement its main business, which is maintenance and AOG for Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft. The new services include carpet replacement; minor repair or replacement of interior components; rejuvenation and protective coating of leather surfaces; fabrication of new seat upholstery; repair or replacement of coating or headlining on windows and other panels; and rectification of any decorative varnish defects on veneer and hard wood. "Our customers can now schedule interior modifications during planned maintenance checks, improving aircraft utilization," Vitely Aleksikov, the newly appointed general director at Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo comments.
